Free Clothing Support
In 2024, our team completed 1,675 clothing referrals, distributing an incredible 17,610 items of clothing to people across Warrington.

We provide free clothing to individuals and families in need across Warrington, all referred by local authorities, schools, charities, and support services.
Many of the people we support are asylum seekers who have arrived in the UK with nothing, trying to rebuild their lives. But our help goes much further. We support anyone facing hardship, regardless of their background.
We work in partnership with an incredible local network, including:
Warrington School Uniform Network, Early Essentials, St Joseph’s Family Centre, Warrington Foodbank, Refugee Assist, Working Wardrobe, and Citizens Advice.
Originally founded to support refugees and asylum seekers, our charity remains rooted in compassion, and today, we’re here for anyone in Warrington who needs a helping hand.
We currently have a surplus of good-quality clothing and are actively looking to expand our referral network.
Are you part of a local school, charity, community group, or support organisation?

Let’s make sure no one in Warrington goes without the basics.
Our History
CARE UK Charity began with a single post on Facebook in 2015, a heartfelt plea in response to the tragic image of 4-year-old Aylan Kurdi. What followed was an outpouring of support that sparked our very first aid shipment and set the foundation for everything we do today.
From global aid efforts to hands-on support for local families in Warrington, our journey has been shaped by compassion, community, and the belief that no one should go without life’s essentials.
Powered by People
We’re proud to be 99.9% self-funded.
That means every donation, every item sold in our charity shops, and every bit of community support helps us continue our work.
Some donated items go directly to people in crisis. Others are sold in our Warrington and Runcorn shops to raise vital funds.
Because here’s the truth:
We don’t have corporate sponsors or guaranteed grants. We have two shops, a small but mighty team, and a community that refuses to look the other way.
